Holiday Crock Pot Party Meatball Recipes!

Ever since I was little going to Holiday parties with my parents, there has ALWAYS been a crock pot full of mouth watering meatballs! For some reason, I feel like I just haven’t seen this in a few years. So in hopes of keeping the tradition of great party meatballs alive, I will be making 1 or even both of these versions of delectable little balls of meat!

I found two recipes that I really like (mostly because they both call for frozen meatballs = half the work! Because who has time really to roll hundreds of little meatballs!?)

Basically the only difference between the two is 1 change of ingredient: one calls for BBQ while the other sticks with the original way of doing these with Heinz chili sauce.

First up:

Ingredients:
1 (32 oz.) bag frozen meatballs
1 (18 oz.) jar grape jelly
1 (18 oz.) bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce
Directions:
Pour the meatballs, grape jelly and BBQ sauce into your slow cooker and stir well until combined.
Cook the mixture on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 2 – 2 ½ hours until completely cooked through (stirring occasionally).
When they are ready, just set your crock pot to the “keep warm” setting and let guests serve themselves.
Just place small bowls and toothpicks next to the meatballs.
Everyone is going to love these!

Second Recipe:

Ingredients
2 12 oz jars Heinz chili sauce
1 32 oz jar grape jelly
1 bag meatballs (about 80 in a bag)

Directions

Put chili sauce and jelly in a large pot, heat until jelly is melted and sauce is smooth, stirring often. Add frozen meatballs; heat until meatballs are thawed and then simmer for 3 hours.
